Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the https://www.southenddogtraining.co.uk website (the “Service”) operated by Southend Dog Training (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Group Classes

For group classes all payments are made to secure your place within that class. We are unable to refund any payments if you are unable to make a class, this is because we are unable to fill your space on a ad-hoc basis as that person may not be up to class standards. We allow 3 sessions per year for holidays which are refundable. If we have to cancel a class due to adverse weather reasons or any other reason which is unavoidable we will refund that class for you. Subscriptions

All subscriptions remain valid until cancelled, No refunds are offered on any subscription service.

If you wish to cancel but stay in the groups for as long as possible we recommend cancelling 2 days before your next payment is due as when you cancel you are removed from all groups straight away, no exceptions. This is due to admin reasons, we offer this service at the lowest cost possible and this way it makes it easier for us to track who should be in the groups and who shouldn’t be.

How to cancel your subscription

  • Log in to your account
  • Go to your ‘Account’ page
  • Select ‘Subscriptions’ from the table on the left of your screen
  • Click on the ‘View’ button next to the subscription you want to cancel
  • Click the ‘Cancel’ button next to ‘Actions’.

Your subscription will now be cancelled.

If you have a LEGACY membership please email help@southenddogtraining.co.uk and we can cancel it for you.

If you signed up on our APP you may have a subscription running via your app provider, i.e. Apple store or Google play store.

How do I reactivate a suspended or cancelled subscription?

  • Log in to your account
  • Go to your ‘Account’ page
  • Select ‘Subscriptions’ from the table on the left of your screen
  • Click on the ‘View’ button next to the subscription you want to reactivate
  • Click the ‘Reactivate’ button next to action.

How do I change the address my order is delivered to?

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to your ‘Account’ page
  3. Click on ‘Addresses’
  4. Select ‘Edit’ under shipping address
  5. Enter the new address details in the form
  6. Click save address.

Advice

Advice is only offered via our VIP Facebook Group or via the website help section (email). We will not offer tailored advice via our main social media streams, any advice offered will be generic and may not fully apply to your full situation, we always strongly recommend signing up to the VIP group so we can offer the tailored service.

1:1 Training Sessions Rescue Dogs

Effective Date: 1st April 2025

At Southend Dog Training, we are committed to helping every dog thrive, including rescues. We are pleased to offer free training services to any dog adopted from a rescue after 1st April 2025, subject to availability. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Eligibility:
    We will provide dog training services for any rescue dog that has been officially adopted after 1st April 2025. Documentation of the dog’s adoption from an approved rescue organization will be required.
  2. Availability:
    Our services are subject to availability. We strive to accommodate all clients, but availability may vary based on the current demand for training sessions. We recommend contacting us in advance to confirm scheduling.
  3. Training Fees:
    Rescue dog sessions booked over the phone and agreed with that it is a rescue session will be free. A Deposit Payment is required at the time of booking which is the refunded after your session. If you do not turn up for your session no refund will be offered.
  4. Booking & Cancellations:
    All bookings must be made in advance. Cancellations or changes to scheduled sessions must be made at least 24 hours before the session to avoid cancellation fees.
  5. Training Locations:
    Training services are available at our designated training facility or other agreed-upon locations within the Southend area. Travel fees may apply for locations outside of our primary service area.
  6. Health and Safety:
    All dogs attending training must be in good health. Owners must inform us of any health concerns or behavioral issues prior to the training session.
  7. Behavioural Considerations:
    We reserve the right to refuse training to any dog deemed unsafe for participation.
  8. Liability:
    While we take every measure to ensure the safety and well-being of your dog, Southend Dog Training is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during or after training sessions.
  9. Changes to Terms:
    We reserve the right to update or change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance to all clients.

Complaints

If you have a complaint or there is something you are not happy with please email us at help@southenddogtraining.co.uk and we will be in contact with you. Please do not message us in any of the WhatsApps groups or on FaceBook as these places are for dog related questions.

Discount codes are limited to one per customer/household

Introductory offers

Offers are valid to new members only, any member that cancels their subscription then signs up with a different email to once again gain a different introductory offer will be banned.

Discord

If you do not follow the rules we will reserve the right to remove you from the groups, We will of course message you and explain any wrong doings but if there is non-compliance as a last resort you will be removed.

if you wish to have multiple users on Discord (your partner) then you can but you will need to give them your discord login. Alternatively you can create a new discord account just for SDT then both login to this and use the discord account switcher.

Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

Deposits

Deposits for training sessions are non refundable. Deposits are taken to secure your appointment and block out this section in the diary, If you cancel we then may not be able to offer this time to someone else and not be able to fill this space in the diary. Your deposit will be lost.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Southend Dog Training and its licensors.

Links To Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Southend Dog Training.

Southend Dog Training has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Southend Dog Training shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Rescues, adoptions & contracts

Any conditions and stipulations your breeders/rescues contracts state with regards to training tools must be adhered to. The advice we give is what is best for your individual dog, should you have specific requirements you must state this when requesting advice.

Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

Data

We will store data on our servers for 12 months, after this it is archived. Any subscription that is cancelled or any order over 12 months old is stored off site and if you require a copy please email help@southenddogtraining.co.uk

CMA data should only be kept for as long as there is an administrative need to keep it to enable the CMA to carry out its business or support functions.
